and App Store Verification

Shadowrocket · Official App Store pageDownload on the App Store

A paid app with a one-time purchase, available only on the App Store. Check your storefront region and verify the app before buying. If you’ve already purchased it, check the original account’s purchase history first.

  • Developer: Shadow Launch Technology Limited
  • App ID: 932747118
  • US storefront: $2.99 one-time purchase
  • For iPhone and iPad

Prices, system requirements and universal purchase availability are as listed on the App Store page.

Storefront and Apple ID region

Shadowrocket isn’t available on the mainland China App Store. If you can’t find it, check the country or region associated with the Apple ID used for App Store purchases instead of repeatedly changing your search terms. Your device language, physical location and storefront account region are separate settings. Changing your device language to English won’t change the storefront linked to your account.

The button on this page links to Shadowrocket’s App Store product page. When you open it, the system may show content available to your current account. The storefront in the link doesn’t change the region of your purchasing account. If you see a message such as “Not available in your country or region,” return to your account settings and check the region before deciding whether you can buy the app.

To check your region, go to Settings → Apple ID → Media & Purchases → View Account → Country/Region. Labels may vary slightly across system versions. Open the account used for media and app purchases—not just the device’s Language & Region settings. Note the current region, then compare it with what the App Store displays.

VERIFY / THREE-POINT CHECK

How to identify the genuine Shadowrocket app

The app name is only a search clue. Before buying, check the developer, official icon and app ID together.

Official Shadowrocket icon: a blue-purple outlined rocket on white

Compare the official icon
White background with a blue-purple outlined rocket; also check the details below.

Developer: Shadow Launch Technology Limited

Open the product page and check the developer information near the app name. If needed, expand the developer or provider details. Confirm the full name, Shadow Launch Technology Limited. Don’t rely on “Shadowrocket” or similar wording in an app name to verify a purchase. Promotional subtitles, similar icons and partial name matches in search results don’t replace the developer field.

Icon: compare it with the official artwork

The genuine app icon has a white background and a blue-purple outlined rocket. Compare it with the official icon on this page, then check that the developer and app ID match. The icon is only one clue, not a reason to buy on its own. If a result has a similar name, open its product page and complete all three checks before paying.

App ID: 932747118

The App Store product link on this page ends with id932747118. Check the product page URL in your browser or the product link shared from the store to confirm the app’s identity. The app ID doesn’t change with the interface language. If the name looks the same but the product link has a different number, it isn’t the app shown here.

After completing the checks, review the price, compatibility and purchase confirmation page. If the store details don’t match all three checks, stop and return to the product link on this page. Before authorizing payment, make sure the app shown on screen is the one you intend to buy—not another search result.

IPHONE / FIRST INSTALL

Buying and opening Shadowrocket on iPhone

Open the App Store product page on your iPhone and verify the app using the three checks before expanding the compatibility section to confirm your device is supported. System requirements are as listed on the App Store page; don’t rely on minimum requirements quoted in other articles. If the store says your device isn’t compatible, resolve that issue before trying to buy the app again.

For your first purchase, tap the price to begin Apple’s purchase confirmation. Check the app name, amount and account, complete any authentication required by the system, then wait for the download to finish. Storefronts show prices in local currencies; the amount on the confirmation screen is the final price. If a transaction is pending, check the store message and purchase history before proceeding. Don’t assume an incomplete transaction has succeeded.

After installation, you can open Home and check the screen without turning on the connection switch. Not Connected shows the current connection status; it doesn’t mean the purchase failed. Buying the app on the App Store gives you the client. To establish a connection, you’ll also need your own existing subscription or server details. See Getting Started for setup steps.

“Add VPN Configurations” is a system permission

When you first enable a connection and the system hasn’t saved the relevant VPN configuration, your device will ask you to allow the configuration to be added. This permission lets the client use the system’s network features to establish a connection; it isn’t a second purchase confirmation. Make sure you initiated the connection, check where the prompt came from, then decide whether to allow it. The system may also ask for your device passcode or authentication.

After granting permission, you can find the related configuration under Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → VPN. The exact path depends on what your system displays. If you delete the VPN configuration, you may need to grant permission again the next time you connect. Deleting a system configuration won’t restore a purchase: network permissions and App Store purchase history are separate.

If the app is installed but the connection switch won’t stay on, check that your configuration is complete and system permission is granted, then check your network. For step-by-step instructions on importing a configuration, selecting Global Routing and testing the connection, read Getting Started. If you see a specific error, follow the relevant steps in the Troubleshooting guide.

IPAD / SAME PURCHASING ACCOUNT

Install on iPad and check device compatibility

After buying Shadowrocket once with an Apple ID, you can use that purchase history to install it on iPhone and iPad. Before you start, check the account under Media & Purchases on your iPad. The device’s primary Apple ID may differ from the account used for App Store purchases, so the name at the top of Settings isn’t enough to confirm you’re using the original account.

Open your App Store account page and go to Purchased. Find Shadowrocket and tap the redownload option. If the product page still shows a price, check the original purchase history, account and region before paying again. System requirements and universal purchase availability are as listed on the App Store page.

The iPad’s larger display may change page layouts, list density and portrait or landscape presentation, but the English labels—Home, Config and Add Server—remain useful for finding the right screens. Screenshot layouts aren’t exact, pixel-by-pixel instructions. Find the same labels on your device, then enter the relevant details; a different layout doesn’t mean the app installed incorrectly.

Purchase history lets you redownload the app, but it doesn’t mean configurations from another device will appear automatically. After installation, check the current list and Config, then import your own existing subscription or server details as needed. Keep passwords, links and certificates safe. Don’t share screenshots that expose them.

PURCHASE HISTORY / NEW DEVICE OR REINSTALL

Restore the app from your purchase history

For a new device, after deleting and reinstalling the app, or when installing it on another compatible device, start with the purchase history for the original Apple ID. A common path is App Store → Account → Purchased; on some system versions, the section may be labeled Apps or My Apps. Search for Shadowrocket, check the product details and tap the cloud-shaped redownload button. You usually won’t be charged again.

  1. Check the purchasing account.Check the Apple ID used for Media & Purchases and compare it with the account on the original purchase record. The account currently signed in on your device may not be the one used for the original transaction.
  2. Find the purchase record.Search for the full app name in Purchased or your app list. If it’s not there, check whether you hid the item and whether the current storefront region has changed.
  3. Check the redownload option. The cloud button in Purchased lets you redownload the app. If a price still appears, confirm the account, app identity and original transaction status before proceeding.
  4. Restore your own configuration. After opening the app, check what’s already there. Restore your configuration from your own saved data or reimport your existing subscription or server details.

Restore the app and configuration separately

The App Store keeps a record of your app purchase; it doesn’t necessarily store all the network configuration you need. Before deleting the app, make sure you have a usable configuration backup and can still access the information needed to restore it. Having purchased the client doesn’t guarantee that your original SERVER list will return after reinstalling.

If you can still use the original device, check the current Config, server entries and required settings, then save them using the app’s available backup or export feature. After restoring on the new device, check each item before testing the connection. Restore from one source at a time so you can identify the original configuration if duplicate entries appear.

If you got the app through Family Sharing, check whether the product page supports that type of sharing and review your current family and purchase-sharing settings. Family Sharing doesn’t transfer every account’s purchases to your own account. Availability depends on the App Store page and your account status.

If the purchase appears in your history but you still can’t redownload the app, note the exact App Store message and check payment status, storefront region, device compatibility, available storage and network connection. Troubleshoot configuration or connection issues only after the client opens successfully. A failed store download and a failed server connection are separate issues.

ONE-TIME PURCHASE / WHAT YOU PAY FOR

Price, one-time purchase and network services

Shadowrocket is a closed-source commercial app sold as a one-time purchase, with no monthly client fee. The US storefront reference price is $2.99. Prices are shown in local currencies and the actual amount is listed on the App Store page and purchase confirmation screen. Before buying, check the storefront and currency for your account; the reference price doesn’t apply to every region.

The client reads your existing configuration and handles connections and rules according to your settings. The availability, validity, authentication details and service status of your existing subscription or server information are separate matters. If a connection times out, check your configuration and network. Buying the app again won’t resolve the issue, and a successful purchase doesn’t prove that a network service is available.

A one-time purchase doesn’t guarantee that every Apple device can install the app under all system conditions. You can use the same purchase history on iPhone and iPad. Universal purchase availability for other devices, system requirements and current compatibility are as listed on the App Store page. Check these details on the device you plan to use before confirming your purchase.

App updates and purchase history are managed through the App Store

App updates are delivered through the App Store. Use automatic updates if you prefer, or check for available updates from your account page. Consider saving important configuration details before updating. If something goes wrong afterward, check your existing settings and system permissions one at a time instead of immediately clearing everything. For details about a version change, read the App Store release notes.

Payment disputes, pending transactions and refunds are handled through Apple’s transaction process. Check your purchase history and the relevant system settings in your account. The client’s connection status can’t tell you whether an App Store charge has completed. This page explains the official purchase route and what the purchase covers; it can’t guarantee account approval, a region change or the outcome of a transaction.

PURCHASE FAQ / COMMON QUESTIONS

Purchase and restore FAQs

First identify whether the issue is with the store, purchase history or configuration, then follow the relevant steps.

Why can’t I find Shadowrocket on the App Store?

Shadowrocket isn’t available on the mainland China App Store. The country or region associated with your Apple ID determines which store content you can see—not your device language. In Settings, check your current region under Apple ID, Media & Purchases, View Account, and Country/Region, then confirm the app is available in that storefront.

The App Store page opens, but the download won’t complete. What should I check first?

Note the exact App Store message, then check the account used for Media & Purchases, storefront region, payment status, device compatibility, available storage and network connection. If the message says a purchase is pending or payment failed, resolve the account issue first. Don’t repeatedly confirm the payment.

Do I have to pay again when I get a new device or reinstall the app?

On the App Store, sign in with the Apple ID used for the original purchase, find Shadowrocket in your account’s purchased items or app list, and download it again. You usually won’t be charged again. If a price still appears, check the original purchase record and current storefront region. Purchase history doesn’t back up your configuration; restore or import it separately.

I bought Shadowrocket on iPhone. Can I install it on iPad too?

You can use the same Apple ID purchase history to download Shadowrocket on iPhone and iPad. On iPad, first check the account under Media & Purchases, then look for the app in your App Store purchase history. Check the App Store page for system requirements and universal purchase availability.

How can I check whether Shadowrocket can be installed on Mac, Apple TV or Apple Vision?

The compatibility section on the same App Store product page lists Mac, Apple TV and Apple Vision. Open the page on the device you plan to use and check compatibility. System requirements and universal purchase availability are as listed on the App Store page. The App Store remains the only place to get the app.

The app opens in English. Where should I start?

Use the official screenshots on this page to find Home and Add Server, and follow the English labels. Home shows connection status; Add Server is where you enter your own server details. The interface language doesn’t verify an app’s authenticity—check the developer, official icon and app ID. For the full setup sequence, see Getting Started.
